The Makita DUM604ZX LXT Grass Shears are designed to suit the needs of home users, landscapers, nurseries and gardeners. They have a stain-free shear blade surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolysed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for a long lasting coating. The blade systems on the UH201D Mobile Hedge Trimmer and the DUM604Z Grass Shear are interchangeable, where the grass shear and hedge trimmer blades can be installed into both the 10.8v and 18v units. (UH201D blades sold separate). This model also has the added feature of a battery capacity warning – lamp starts blinking red, this indicates battery capacity is low and when the lamp lights up, the tool has stopped due to battery capacity being empty.
