Description
Duke of York seed potatoes are an old heritage potato variety, first entered on the national list back in 1891. Since their introduction, the Duke of York has become famous for its great taste and all-around culinary ability.
These seed potatoes are oval-shaped with yellow flesh.
Once they are boiled, Duke of Yorks is dry and mealy, making them an ideal variety to boil straight from your garden. They also show good resistance to dry rot.
First earlies are typically ready for harvesting around 13-15 weeks from planting.
