Truing tool: Trues the grindstone exactly round and flat. Guided by the Universal Support, which also guides the jigs. Dual knobs for smooth feed across the stone.
Square edge jig: For plane irons and wood chisels. Max tool width 76 mm (3"), max tool thickness 9 mm (3/8"). Safety stops prevent the tool from slipping off the stone.
Stone grader: The fine side grades the stone for a 1000 grit finish. The coarse side of the grader reverses the stone to normal fast grinding. Activates a glazed stone.
Leather honing reel: After sharpening you hone away the burr and polish the bevel to the finest edge on the leather honing wheel.
Universal Support with acme thread: Round section without flat machining makes it faster to change position.
Micro Adjust with scale: For a predetermined cutting depth when using the TT-50 Truing Tool.
Stainless steel main shaft: Prevents from rust and wear on bearings. With Tormek EzyLock you need no tools for mounting and dismounting the stone.

Water Chute for Long Tools: For long tools that drip water over the edge of the lip (like chef’s knives and planer blades), you can add the water chute. Set the widest edge of the chute onto the tab in the middle of the lip of the trough and the water chute will direct the water back into the trough from even the longest tools.
Corrosion Protection: The sturdy steel housing on Tormek T-7 is treated with an Electrodeposition (ED) coating which provides a superior corrosion protection and forms the foundation for the tough powder coat paint finish.
Magnet Cleans the Stone of Steel Particles: The water trough incorporates a strong magnet, which attracts the steel particles worn from the tools being sharpened. This keeps your stone clean and cutting more freely.
